Request to obtain a corporate trustee licence
Checklist
In accordance with Sections 15 to 25 (inclusive) of Directive No. 13R4, Trustee Licensing, a request to obtain a corporate trustee licence should entail a written request for pre-approval of the name submitted to the Licensing Section of the OSB.

- Fill in Form 3;
- Make sure that Articles of Incorporation include the objects of the Corporation (Section 20 of Directive No. 13R4, Trustee Licensing) and state how the corporation is a private or close company (Section 22);
- Make sure that the by-laws and the shareholders register do comply with provisions of Directive No. 13R4, Trustee Licensing dealing with Directors and Officers (Section 21) and those dealing with shareholders (Sections 23 and 24).
