Michael Harris of King City Secondary School in King City, Ontario, organizes a marine biology field trip to the Florida Everglades for his students each year. This trip offers his students a chance to see exotic ecosystems. Students do not have to make the trip to see unusual wildlife, however. They can study rare fauna, gerbils, fish, iguanas, African frogs, a cockatiel and an African Congo Ray in an artificial ecosystem at the school that is maintained and monitored by students.
